Family Support Services

Your child deserves a clear picture of how they learn.

Whether you need someone in your corner at a school meeting or a thorough independent evaluation, CAP provides expert support that puts your child first and keeps you informed every step of the way.

Our Approach

Comfortable for your child. Clear for you.

Every child deserves to be evaluated in a setting that feels safe and low-pressure. Every parent deserves to walk away understanding exactly what the results mean for their child's education.

💕

Child-Centered Evaluation

Testing is approached at the student's pace, in a calm and comfortable setting. We take the time to build rapport before we ever open a test kit. Your child is not a number on a report.

💬

Clear Communication

You will always know where things stand. We keep an open line between you, the school, and our office so nothing falls through the cracks and no one is surprised at a meeting.

📚

Results You Can Understand

We do not hand you a 40-page report and wish you luck. We walk you through what the results mean, what they say about how your child learns, and what should happen next in their education.

Services

How we can help your family.

Every family situation is different. Whether you need someone to review records, attend a meeting, or conduct a full independent evaluation, we have a service that fits where you are right now.

Independent Evaluation

Psychoeducational Evaluation

A comprehensive, independent psychoeducational evaluation conducted by a bilingual educational diagnostician. This is an outside-the-school evaluation that gives you an objective, expert-level picture of how your child learns, processes information, and performs academically.

  • Cognitive and academic assessment in English and/or Spanish
  • Review of school records, prior evaluations, and teacher input
  • Clear written report with eligibility findings and recommendations
  • Parent conference to review results and answer every question
  • Communication with the school team as needed

Contact us through the form or by email. Tell us what is going on with your child and what kind of support you are looking for.

02

Records Review

We review your child's school records, prior evaluations, and any documentation you can share. This helps us understand the full picture before we do anything else.

03

Testing or Meeting Prep

For evaluations, we schedule testing at a time and place that works for your child. For advocacy, we prepare you thoroughly before any school meeting.

Results and Next Steps

We walk you through everything we found, in plain language. You will understand your child's results and know exactly what to do next.

Ongoing Support

We do not disappear after the evaluation or meeting. We stay available to answer questions, review new documents, and support you as your child's situation develops.

"Your child's learning profile is not a label. It is a map. Our job is to help you read it."
